Partner “Cookies” are generally deleted after a few days or within up to 24 months, and in individual cases after several years. Our partners’ “Cookies” also do not contain personal data. Only data hidden under a pseudonym and marked with a user identifier are collected. Such data are never linked to your personal data.

Cookie files are included in the HTTP and HTTPS protocols used for communication between the web server and the browser. They consist of: a key defining the name of the value, the value itself, and the lifetime after which the browser should delete the Cookie file. Their functions are mostly standard for settings provided by browsers.

The Administrator uses two types of “Cookies” files – “session” and “persistent”. The former are temporary files that remain on the User’s Device until logging out from the website or switching off the software (web browser) – after which they are automatically deleted from the User’s Device. “Persistent” files remain on the User’s Device for the period specified in the “Cookies” file parameters or until manually deleted by the User. “Cookies” used by the website operator’s partners are subject to their own privacy policies.

“Cookies” files collect various types of information which, as a rule, do not constitute personal data (they do not allow identification of the User). Certain information, however, depending on its content and method of use, may be associated with a specific person and thus be considered personal data. The data are encrypted, which prevents unauthorized persons from accessing them.

“Cookies” used for retargeting remember the User’s visit to the Services, as well as the subpages visited and links opened. These data enable the Administrator to tailor and display advertisements and offers to Users according to their areas of interest.

III. Legal Basis for the Use of “Cookies” Files

Obtaining and storing information by the Administrator using “Cookies” is possible on the basis of the User’s consent. By default, web browsers or other software installed on the Device allow “Cookies” files to be placed and thus information about Users to be collected. In the web browser settings or within the privacy management settings on our website, consent given for the use of “Cookies” technology, including those of the Administrator’s partners, may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

The legal basis for processing data obtained in this way is the legitimate interest of the Administrator, consisting in the need to ensure the highest quality of content presented by the Administrator by adapting it to User preferences and marketing – including direct marketing – of the Administrator’s or its partners’ services, whereby in such a case the partners do not participate in the processing of the Customer’s data. On the other hand, to the extent that the Administrator’s partners may also have direct access to this information, the legal basis for such processing is the Customer’s voluntarily given consent.

IV. Profiling

“Cookies” used in the Administrator’s Services make it possible to learn about Users’ preferences – for example by analyzing how often they visit our website or which products they view most frequently. Analysis of Internet behavior helps the Administrator better understand the habits and expectations of Users and adapt to their needs and interests. Thanks to this technology, the Administrator may not only present advertisements tailored to the User, but also create and present offers or discounts intended for the User that are unavailable to other persons.

A User’s resignation from “Cookies” enabling advertisements tailored to their interests does not mean that they will not receive any advertisements while using our or other websites – in such a case the User will continue to receive the same number of advertisements, but unrelated to their previous activity.

Access to information concerning Users’ activity on the Internet using “Cookies” is also used to create anonymous statistics which help understand how Users use the Service’s websites, which enables improvement of their structure and content. Information collected and contained in “Cookies” may be stored after the browser session ends, which allows, for example, their use during the User’s subsequent visits.

V. Possibilities of Determining the Conditions for Storage or Access by “Cookies”

The User may independently and at any time change settings concerning Cookies files, specifying the conditions for storing and obtaining access by Cookies files to the User’s Device. The User may make the changes referred to in the preceding sentence using the web browser settings or the service configuration. These settings may be changed in particular in such a way as to block automatic handling of Cookies in the web browser settings or to inform the User each time Cookies are placed on the User’s Device. Detailed information on the possibilities and methods of handling Cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings.

The User may delete Cookies at any time using the functions available in the web browser they use.

  • In the Internet Explorer browser, Cookies can be modified via: Tools → Internet Options → Privacy.
  • In the Mozilla Firefox browser: Tools → Options → Privacy.
  • In the Google Chrome browser: Settings → Show advanced settings → Privacy → Content settings → Cookies.

Access paths may differ depending on the browser version used.

Restricting the use of Cookies may affect certain functionalities available on the Service’s website.
